Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using the service.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Provider

2. What the Service does

The App is a web service for running and viewing tournaments. It includes, in particular:

  • a homepage and tournament pages,
  • a result submission feature (nickname and, if provided, an email address),
  • an account area where your results can be saved and viewed after login,
  • passwordless login using an email link with a one-time token (“magic link”).

We may update the Service from time to time to improve features, stability, and security. We may also change or discontinue parts of the Service.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who can legally use online services under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

4. Passwordless login (“Magic Link”)

  • To log in, you enter your email address. We send a one-time login link containing a token.
  • The login link is intended only for the owner of the email address. Do not forward or share it.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Anyone with access to your email may be able to access your App account.
  • We may invalidate tokens or temporarily restrict access if we reasonably suspect misuse or security risks.

5. Submitting results

  • When submitting a result, you provide a nickname (required) and an email address (optional). If you provide an email address, you confirm that you are authorized to use it.
  • If you provide an email address, we may send you a message after submission that includes a link to access your account (passwordless login).
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
  • We may remove results or restrict submissions if we reasonably believe they are fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, misleading, or violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights,
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data,
  • interfere with the Service (including scraping, automated extraction, reverse engineering, or bypassing security measures),
  • upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful content,
  • impersonate other users or submit email addresses you do not control.

7. Intellectual property

The Service (including its software, interface, design, and branding) is owned by the Provider or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, in accordance with these Terms.

8. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our privacy practices, you should not use the Service.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rules.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time (for example, due to legal changes or updates to the Service). We will provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
